Airbrush Tanning Skin Prep

  • Exfoliating your skin 2-4 days prior to your tan will help to remove dead skin cells, and allow your tan to process evenly.

  • You should NOT shave or exfoliate within 12 hours of your airbrush tanning appointment.

  • All nail and waxing services should be done at least 24 hours before your tanning appointment.

Day of Appointment

  • When you arrive for your appointment your skin should have NO makeup, lotion, perfume, or deodorant.

  • You will want to wear loose clothing to avoid your tan rubbing off before it is processed.

  • You may wear whatever you are comfortable with to your appointment. Some people prefer to wear underwear or a bathing suit, while others prefer to tan bare. Just remember anything you leave on will leave a tan line

  • If you have a sunburn please reschedule. If your sunburn peels your tan will also peel.

  • If it is raining please come with an umbrella. Your tan WILL get splotchy if it gets wet before it is fully processed.

Airbrush Tanning Aftercare

  • Wait 6-8 hours before you shower, yes it is ok to sleep in it.

If any color gets on your clothes or sheets it will come off in the wash.

  • When you do shower you will notice some color come off, it is just the surface cosmetic bronzers and is totally normal. Rinse with just water until the water runs clear, then proceed with soap.

  • Be cautious of shaving and exfoliating as it will fade your tan faster.

  • After you shower use an unscented moisturizer to help the tan last longer and fade evenly.

  • Airbrush tan DOES NOT protect you from sun exposure like “building a base” in a tanning bed. You can still get a sunburn under your airbrush tan.
